Join B. A. or M. A. at Open University

Students who are joining Under Graduate Diploma Course at BVB are advised to join B.A. in Journalism at Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) by correspondence. Similarly students joining PG Diploma Courses are advised to join M.A. In Mass Communiation, so they can complete first year along with BVB's Professional Diploma. Department provides all information and required assistance. Qualification of B.A. or M.A. will help to acquire higher position in TV Channel and Media Industry.

After 12th result, there will be a mad rush to get college admission. Students and parents should know that Degree in B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com is not sufficient to get job. Instead one can join one year professional Diploma in any one of the subject offered at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and continue graduation with Open University. Think of this as an alternative option.

At Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan we have several one year Diploma Courses in different trades of Electronic Media, Photography and Computer Animation, which will be starting from end of July. We advise students to join these courses to get best practical knowledge in Electronic Media, they are also advised to join BJMC (Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication) at any Open University by Distance learning. We offer full guidance on enrolment and admission process of IGNOU. After completing one year Diploma course, students can join any TV Channel or TV Production House, as a TV professional and continue his/her B.A. by correspondence. And when one completes his graduation, he has BJMC degree along with one or two years of work experience, which helps him to get very good salary at any reputed TV Channel.

After 12th, one can choose any one of the following trade:-

1. Dip. in Electronic Media - To become Radio & TV Presenter, TV Anchor etc.
2. Dip. in Professional Photography - To become a Fashion or Commercial Photographer.
3. Dip. in Acting for TV - To become an Actor to work in TV Serials.
4. Dip. in Video Camera - To become a TV Cameraman/Cameraperson.
5. Dip. in Video Editing - To become a Video Editor.
6. Dip. in Animation Film Making - To become a VFX Artist and 3D Animator.
7. Dip. in Digital Media – To join Social Media and Digital Media Marketing.
8. Dip. in Computer Graphics - To become a Graphic Artist and DTP Operator.

After Graduation, one can choose any one of the following trade:-

1. P. G. Diploma in Radio & TV Journalism
2. P. G. Diploma in TV Direction & Script Writing
3. P. G. Diploma in Radio & TV Production
4. P. G. Diploma in Electronic Media Management
